ESSENCE CONNECTION
As we well know, each moment in life is precious and unique, irreplaceable. You snap yours fingers once and that’s it… that moment is gone forever
There are countless moments in our life that go unnoticed. Exceptionally, however, there are times when we are able to experience the moment in a deeper more intense way
Through the interaction with some of you, something profound awakened inside me
The moment we connected by looking at each other so intensively, for a short period of time, made me feel a variety of emotions
Fear, compassion, solitude, tenderness, helplessness, love, complicity
Some of you managed to stay in the moment and the neutrality of your facial expression, the prolonged period you were able to stay still, rendered each of those moments invaluable to me because I felt intimately connected to you, connected at a level at which I don’t usually connect with people in my daily life
It was recognition; an identification through which I felt that what was looking at me was my fellow human being… plain and simple, as if we were wearing naked bodies… barriers collapsed, labels disintegrated, prejudices didn’t reach into my mind
It was a true, pure moment; as if I didn’t need anything else to survive
